Epic fail Babies R Us. Epic. =(

Well, my day started out as any other normal day. Woke up with baby boy, feed him, cleaned him up, and got him ready for his day with grammy and grandpa Petty, while mama went to work.

His diaper rash, by the way is WAY WAY WAY WAY better today. Way better. So glad it is. He doesn't seem bothered by a diaper change any more.

So I went to work, with a few intentions, however, on my way to work, after having an hour to think about things, I decided on a different path. When I got there, I talked with boss man. We have a good 30 min conversation about everything, straightened some things out, and ironed out the issues. I must say, I'm glad I went in with the right mind set. I told him my concerns, and my issues, and we fixed them.

So, now that, that ugly beast is behind me, I can move forward. Really just a lot of things blown out of proportion. Which is par for the course when everyone is having a terrible day, and the day starts off terrible. I guess God gave me a change of heart before I got to work.

In any case, BUSY day at work. Freakishly busy day. I guess it had to do with the Ferrari car show, and the home and garden show by us today. Some nice Ferrari's they had! =) I wouldn't mind having one.

In any case, got done with work, and drove home.

When I got home, we ate dinner, played a little with bubba bear, and then went on a few errands.

Our first stop was QT for gas, and a soda. MAN was it busy. Some jerk cut us off at the ATM, guess he didn't see us in line, and guess that he thought he was more important that us? hmmm. Whatever.

Our second stop was Babies R us/ Toys R us. We were looking for a birthday gift for my 2nd cousin Hunter for his 3rd birthday party tomorrow. So, cool, they have all ages legos now, and all kinds of cool legos. Why didn't they have these back in our day? Seriously. lol. I was slightly disappointed though, because I didn't see any linking logs?

We ended up buying him three monster truck toys. It said ages 3 and up. SO, since he's gonna be 3, I'm hoping it's a good gift. We got him a shark looking one, a tiger looking one, and just a plan monster truck looking one. So, we shall see tomorrow if he liked them.

Then we went to the babies side of the store to look for two things, the one thing we found. Decided to break down and buy a jumper thingy that goes in the door way for him to jump. MUCH like a baby swing at a park. The other thing we were looking for was a shopping cart/high chair cover thing. Yeah, they had them, but the had the high end, ridiculous ones that were like 60 bucks plus. Sorry, not paying 60 bucks for something he will use temporarily, and spit up, and all kinds of stuff. Not to mention they only had girly designs. They had one "in stock" for 20 bucks, but when the guy went to the back to get it, it wasn't there. It then showed up as someone bought in 5 mins earlier.

So we had him call the other babies r us. They are sold out as well.

So at our third stop at walmart, to stop and buy a bag to put Hunter's birthday gifts in, we took a quick look there. Of course, sold out. HOWEVER, the Walmart closer to us had two in stock and we have on on hold. So we are gonna pick it up tomorrow. It's the one that babies r us is selling for 30, and it's only 20 bucks at walmart. Glad we checked there. PLUS it's a BOYS color! yay!

Anyways, we got home, feed Jayden his dinner, and bathed him.

The little turkey wanted to try and feed himself. So we let him play around with his spoon. Man, I think he likes his spoons more than his toys! lol. Seriously.

In any case, we are sort of trying different things to see what works best to get Jayden to go to sleep at night. So tonight we tried nursing him while reading Cinderella. He really just wanted to play. So that wasn't working tonight.

Then we decided to let him "play it out" and when we put him down to play, he decided he didn't want to play.

So we then decided to let him watch a little of music videos that Scott was watching, and then some cartoons, he didn't want those, he got antsy.

So when nothing seemed to be working, he was rubbing his eyes, like he was tired. We reverted back to the Ferber method of cry it out. Sad. Sad, sad, sad.

It worked. He cried like 5 mins, and rolled over and went to sleep. I very much dislike that, that is the best way my son will go to sleep on his own. VERY much dislike. hmpt.

In any case, he's asleep now, so I guess that's what counts.

I didn't get to do much work on my business today, but I plan on doing some foot to pavement gorilla marketing this week.

Monday, Scott and I are thinking about taking Jayden to the Arizona Science Center for the Body Works Exhibit. So, I'm planning on taking some flyers, and passing them out there to whose interested.

Tuesday, I'm going to local business and seeing what sort of partnership marketing I can do with them.  My goal is at least two business partnerships.

Wednesday I'm gonna hit the pavement at Walmart, Fry's, Westgate, The Mall.

Thursday I'm gonna hit the pavement at Target/Kohls area, 99th and McDowell area

Friday I'm gonna do Home Depot area, the other mall area, best buy area and Fry's Electronics area.

Any one have any marketing advice? Suggestions? etc.

Anyways, I'm thinking of doing some residential areas. I know some areas allow it and some don't. I will have to use some old resources to find out those areas.

Well, I've gotta get going, big day tomorrow at church, then we have Hunter's birthday party, then some how have to make it to Bailey's birthday party. FUN times I tell ya.

Ttyl, goodnight folks.

Enjoy these pictures!
