Happy Valentines Eve!!!!!

So today, started like any other Sunday morning. NOT!!!!

I had not walked down stairs for more than maybe a minute. I had barely gotten my sweater on, and was about to make myself some coffee.

You know that movie Fight Club? You know how it goes: "Rule number one, you DO NOT talk about fight club."

Well, my number one rule is, You do not talk to me unless I've had my coffee. Never mind if I haven't finished the rest of my morning ritual, before Jayden wakes up. As long as I've had my coffee I'm good to go. HOWEVER, if I have not had my coffee, I wouldn't come near me just yet. I don't do well without it.

In any case, I was about to grab my coffee and start about my morning ritual. When my in laws started nagging a bit about the lent in the dryer. They assumed since they saw me folding Jayden's laundry that I actually placed it in the dryer or took it out. They assumed I was the last to use it. I was not. Hubby was helping me while I fed Jayden. He put Jayden's laundry in the dryer and then took it out and put it in his hamper so I could fold it later. WE try to not leave stuff too long in the dryer, just so they don't get upset. In any case, I found out that Hubs wasn't even the last to USE the dryer. One of his brothers where. They apparently needed some shirts and towels done before the weekend hit.

It just kind of ticked me off a bit, because Scott and I are always finding lent in the dryer when we go do our laundry. However, being the respectful peace maker I am. I said, ok. I went about doing my morning ritual. Sometimes I think they forget that we are 25 and 27. Not one of Scott's teenaged brothers. It's okay. I know they are not feeling well, I snap when I'm sick, Scott is HORRIBLE when he's sick. He's worse than Jayden.

So I let it go. That was the end of it. Went about my morning ritual, went and woke up my hubby to start getting ready for church, little man was awake and just jabbering to himself in his crib.

The oddest thing has happened the last three nights. Some how, my son, who we lay down either on his tummy or back, just depends on which was he has fallen asleep, (He tends to stay asleep if we lay him down the way he has fallen asleep), facing the same way he always faces, (Head towards mine), was completely filpped around. He was on his tummy facing me. When he woke up he was some how on his back facing the opposite direction!!!!!!!!!

I told Scott, I don't know how he's doing it, but it's time to lower the crib. =( He's already trying to sit on his own without support, he can sit on his own with support, and he's already learning to pull himself up, and "climb" over things. Yes, you heard it right, I said climb over things. His legs are insanely strong. He LOVES to run around in his walker, so I'm sure that is strengthing his legs also.

In any case, I fed baby boy. We did wheat again today, with his green beans. Took him upstairs, and got him ready for church, then we proceeded to get ready for church ourselves.

Church was the kick in the pants we needed to hear today. Let it go. Just let it go. Why hang onto it, if it's not glorifying God, or making us happy? Seriously. Think of all the bad, and the junk that we are holding onto. I'm being serious. Think about it for a minute. Why hold onto it a minute longer? It's just taking space where you can fill it with more good things. Get rid of it let it go. Forgive and forget. I know, easier said than done, but do it.

Also, the second part of the message was in John 16 verses 12-15. Basically the first verse, John 16:12 is what hit the heart. Jesus basically is saying, there is SOOOO much he wants to teach us, to tell us, to have us learn, but we can't possibly comprehend it all if dumped on us. So we must learn things at a snail speed to be able to absorb it, understand it, comprehend it, and utilize it, to learn from it. I mean wow. Right? wow.

I want to use this story that Mr Pastor man used today that really drove that point home.

"A new out of seminary man wanted to preach to a flock of people. He put the word out that on Sunday he would be preaching to everyone who wanted to hear the Good Word.

Well only one man from that small town showed up. So the New Preacher asked that man, 'I am filled with the Holy Spirit, I am on fire, I want to preach, but do you think it's okay if I preach to just one person? Should I wait for more people to show up at a more convient time? Tell me good farmer, what do you think?'

The farmer replied as such, 'Well Preacher, I don't know a whole lot about that preaching business. But I do know about cows. I know that I take them to the pasters to graze and roam freely for better mating rituals. I know that when I return to them to feed them, that if only one cow has returned I still feed that one cow. So I'd say preach away.'

And that's precisely what the new Preacher did. For 3 hours he preached and preached, he got into some deep theological stuff, and preached some more. When he was done he asked the farmer, 'So, how was my preaching?'

'Well, Mr Preacher Sir, I don't know a whole lot about that preaching business, but I know cows. I know when I take them to the pasters to graze and roam freely, because they mate better that way, that when I return to feed them, and there's only one cow, I still feed that cow. I don't however dump the whole truck of feed on that ONE cow! That cow could never eat all of that!'

The point is, we can't digest all of it at once. We just can't comprehend it all. That's why God only gives us snip its of our life, via dreams, or prayers, or opening small windows and doors here or there. We aren't meant to get the ENTIRE picture at once. WE could never comprehend it, or digest it. Wouldn't it change everything anyways? It probably would. So he gives us bit by bit, snip it by snip it. He does this so we don't get over loaded.

So put this all together. When we finally decide to let go, when we finally give into God's Will, at HIS time, we get windows and doors opened for us. We start to comprehend and understand the bigger picture piece by piece. When we let go, God gives us a little more. When we learn to lose it and fill it with more good, God gives us 7 fold back. Remember poor Job? He was faithful through all his storms and trials, lost everything, and he got it all back? If we just let it go, God will reward us, and enrich our lives.

Wow, pretty powerful stuff huh? Made me start thinking with somethings going on in our life right now, more particularly mine. I guess God has bigger and better things in store for me. I guess he has bigger plans for me that I can not see at the moment, but I know He's working on something. I just can't wait to see what it is! However for now, I'm good with just the little snip it he's giving me and showing me. =) So, thank You Lord, for all that You are, all that You have done for me, and all that You are still doing for me! Thank You Lord for all that you have put in my life!

Anyways, after church we ate lunch. I just LOVE Burger Kings Cheddar JalapeƱo burger. Yum Yum Yum! We went grocery shopping afterwards.

Scott and I tried every brand of diaper we could. WE didn't like many of them for several different reasons. We found Walmart's Brand Parent's Choice and we have LOVED them from the first time we used them. Then Parent's choice put out awesome great wipes, then bottles, and other feeding things, and now baby food! I'm really excited.

However, the last week or so, we've been thinking about trying a different kind of diaper now. Jayden has been busting free from his diapers. Some how the little turkey has been wiggling out of them! He's getting them undone, and all! So we thought since he's on the verge of crawling, and he's wiggling around so much, that we would try Huggies lil Movers, or Pampers Lil Cruisers. We stood there in the diaper aisle for literally 30 minutes going over the different diapers, how many come in the package, how much they cost, etc. We stood there, going what are we going to do.

See we cloth diaper ourselves. However, we don't make the Sunday School teachers deal with it, it's not fair to them, Jayden typically has a bowel movement half way through church. So he needs a diaper change. Our in laws gave us a little trouble about the whole cloth deal. So when he's with them, we use the disposables as well. Sometimes, depending on how much errands we have to run, or where we are going, we use disposables, or the disposable inserts in his cloth diapers. I like the disposable inserts because they can be easily handled and thrown away while we are out, but I don't like them, because for a pack of 32 they cost the same amount as a box of 96 diapers of our Parent's Choice disposables. So I like to try and stick with the cloth inserts as much as possible. With Jayden's bowels being pretty solid, it doesn't make cleaning them so bad. It's actually rather easy.

We can't convert everyone to cloth. I will surely use them with our next child as well. I like the fact that we only have to pay 13 bucks for disposable diapers like once a month, if that.

I thought at first that it would be harder to clean these cloth diapers, when it is not. I thought surely the cost of cleaning and maintaining them would be just as much if not more to disposable diaper our child. But really, it is MUCH cheaper. You don't HAVE to run the washer and dryer. I do once a week on all of them to keep them clean and all. However, I clean them by hand in the sink, and then hang them on a dryer rack to dry.

Anyways, we were losing faith in our Parent's choice brand. That is until we got home and opened the box of diapers, to put them in their places. I'm not sure when, (I think we bought our last box of diapers a month ago? Maybe longer? I can't remember.) In any case, when I took them out and started stocking them where they go, I noticed they felt different, they looked different. THEY WERE DIFFERENT! I looked on the box, and it said new and improved, to compare them to Huggie's lil movers diapers!

THEY ARE PERFECT now! Faith in the brand re newed! =)~ Very happy that in a months time, Parent's choice Diapers fixed things! This makes me a very happy consumer, and a very happy mama. I will continue to use Parent's choice!

In any case, we finally came home, and rested for the rest of the night. We played with baby boy, and had tons of fun. He refused to take a nap today. So, we just played him down until he wore out. Then we bathed him. He was SOO easy to put to sleep!  I nursed him for all of maybe 20 minutes, and he was lights out. =) He's been peacefully sleeping now for a little over an hour.

And now, I'm gonna go spend some cuddle time with my hubby. =)

I'm kind of bummed out though, Hubby said he had a surprise for me yesterday, and I was sort of secretly expecting to see it sometime today, and so far nothing. I'm hoping he's got it planned for tomorrow. =)

First Valentines day as a Married couple, and as a Mama and Daddy! =)~

Anyways, talk to ya'll later. Goodnight!
