We woke up today and fed Jayden. We played around with him for a little while I drank my coffee and we watched the news.
We were thinking and talking about going to the Renfair today, last night. On the news today we saw that they were having a buy one get one free admission today. So we decided to look in the Az Republic, and snip out the coupon, and go.
So we went. We had a BLAST. It was fun and a good time to be out doing something as a family.
We immediately got our Turkey legs when we got there. And as we were eating our turkey legs, Jayden ate his pears.
We saw several shows, a joust and a bunch of fun new shops and attractions. I can NOT wait until Jayden is a little older to do the really fun things for kids! I'm excited!
In any case they have several new attractions and shows. Our fave is the barely balanced show. LOVED it. So funny.
Now typically the shows are pretty risqué in nature, however, it seemed like they were off the chart today, like they had an extra dose of risqué added to their shows. It's all good, hubs and I needed some good laughs. Laughing is medicine for the soul! =)
When we got home, we ate dinner, fed wee man his dinner. He ate it ALL and THEN some. He's been a hungry hungry hippo child today. lol. So cute.
In any case, I hope the Pears aren't doing what the Peaches did to him. He had one normal solid poop today, and then his second one was sort of very wet and diarrhea looking. The same way the peaches started out is how the pears are starting out. He just started to eat the Pears today. =( So we shall see. It could be that he had 3- 10 ounce bottles of breast milk today. I don't know.
BOY, was baby boy T-I-R-E-D tonight. He was pretty much already asleep by the end of his bath tonight. Which is ALWAYS good. We dressed him, lotion ed him up and all. I cuddled him for a min like we always do to read him his bed time story, and before page one was done he was out cold.
Baby boy is peacefully sleeping. Didn't even fight us or anything. Just went to sleep. YAY! So I'm hoping this will help him sleep awesome tonight. Last night he didn't even wake to nurse until 6:33am! yay! And he was in bed at 8pm! I'm SOOOOOOOOOO happy! I don't know if it will last or how long, but I am GRATEFUL! and Thankful! I will take any little victory I can. Of course I nursed him at 10pm as always. I don't even wake him up, I just pick him up and gently get him on and he nurses in his sleep. =) I love it.
I don't know if this is gonna cause issues in the future, or if it's to our benefit. The whole nursing him even when he's asleep at 10pm. I have read conflicting stories about this. I don't want him to be dependent on the nursing at 10pm, because once he is weaned, he will most likely wake up hungry to eat at these times, and I don't want that. Kind of torn as to what to do. He's at the age that he is forming habits, and learning, and discovering all kinds about himself. I want to try and form good habits for him. =)
In any case, I've got a lot of work and homework to do, so I will ttyl. Enjoy these pictures!
