Jayden is starting to scare me =(

I think that Jayden may have some sort of intolerance, or allergic reaction to banana's. =( I have been keeping a log of all and any kind of reaction of every flavor of food he has tried, so we can discuss with his Pedi. Even small things like after he ate carrots he had the hiccups for 10-15 mins. Now I already asked her about this, she says after checking his chart, and how often he had fetal hiccups, and how often prior to starting solids he had the hiccups, it's most likely a coincidence. That the next time he has carrots to chart when we feed them to him, how much we feed him, and how soon after he gets the hiccups and for how long.

He's been doing good on his solid foods. It's been great, and fun. I've been capturing the moments on camera, to add to his baby book, and scrapbook.

We started banana's yesterday. At first I thought it was just his reflux acting up again. We've been a little laxed on his medicine, because we are tapering it down until 6 months when he wont need them any longer.

Anyways, it has seemed to be progressively get worse.

Then today, I fed him a little after 9am, his normal breakfast time is 9am. I let him play till about 10, and then attempted to get him to take a nap since he was getting to be a tad bit fussy. So I gave him the remaining bottle of milk I just pumped at breakfast.

45 minutes into the program I was watching, he sort of violently threw it all up. So much so I had to change both of us. I had to clean off the lazy boy and pillow I had him propped on. =(

He just threw up. Didn't cry, didn't over re act. Nothing. Then he wanted to be awake and play. Weirdest thing ever.

In any case, I nursed him once he started to fuss, figuring yeah, I'm sure he's hungry after throwing up it all. He nursed a little bit. Kind of played more or less.

I then gave his paci, and laid him down for a nap. He's sleeping now, but he scared me. I don't know if this is normal behavior in a growing baby, but he's starting to do a lot of mannerism's and behavior changes.

I'm reluctant in calling his pedi, since we have a follow up next week to check out his lil cold, so I've been trying to look things up online. So far nothing. Anyone else deal with that?

I'm starting to think, with what little I've been able to find, that maybe he was just really full? I mean he did eat an entire tub of banana's and all 4 tablespoons of his oatmeal cereal today at breakfast with a half bottle of breast milk. Is it possible I over fed him? He was sleeping as he was sucking on the bottle in my lap. In any case, It scared me.

Anyways, just gotta fold Jayden's Laundry now, and rotate the dishes and make some tea, then all I have tonight is to make dinner.
