Hello world.

I hope ya'll don't think I have forgotten about you? It's just been one very busy couple of weeks. Have you ever attempted to move by yourself, using only your pick up truck with a 4 month old? Very hard work. I'm one of those that I don't leave my previous place a mess, so I do deep cleaning. And let me tell you, I'm in AWE of the junk we managed to hold onto, the trash I managed to find. Seriously, we are not dirty people, quit the opposite in fact. I very tediously cleaned top to bottom. I threw so much junk away that it was unreal.

We are purchasing a new kitchen set and living room set, so I threw away our old beat down stuff that I know Goodwill wouldn't have any use for, and took the rest to Goodwill. It wasn't horrible, just the dogs got to a few cushions. minor tears. The apartment looks as if no one ever lived there! So yay we will be getting our deposit back! I always love getting my deposit back. Makes my day.

Anyways, I need to break my husband of his pack rat habits. He had 3 HUGE boxes of magazines dating back to 1999. Sorry love, but 12 years of magazines had to go. I kept his most recent. I had to limit to the last 3 years, and believe that was still a box full.

I found a rather disturbing box of my husbands. I called him and confronted him about it. He simple said, "toss it". SO I did. There is NO need to have that box in our home or lives. The past should remain there. I had thrown my similar box away years ago. I'm sort of hurt about it, even though I have no "real" reason to be hurt over it. I guess it's just the fact that he had in our home for so long. It was kind of like a slap in the face.

As I threw that box away, I went back into the closet to do some more work, and found a box that absolutely made my eyes swell with tears of joy. There in that box, was every letter/note we wrote each other, every memento I had given him. Printed out emails and pictures of us way back when. =) Made me realize just how deeply sentimental my husband is, even when he would never admit it himself. lol. =)~ Again I called hubby, and just said I love you. He immediately knew why I was saying that. He simply said, "I guess you found the box." lol. "I have been holding onto that for years."

Anyways, so here is some news on Jayden.

We started him on rice cereal on January 24th. He LOVED it. We are now up to the thickness it is suppose to be. So yay!

Then on January 31st, we started him on Gerber Stage 1 baby food. We started with the carrots. Which has been a HUGE success. He loves them. This morning (day 4 of the stage 1 baby food) we started Apples! He took a liking to those as well! We are trying a new flavor every three days to see if there are any food reactions and or allergies. So for three days he has the same flavor. So far with the carrots only thing we noticed is 3 out of the 9 times he had hiccups for 10-15 mins.

I called his Pedi, and asked her if this is a possible food allergy. She said no after further review of Jayden's file. He had fetal hiccups at least twice a day, and has had hiccups since birth up to at least once a day. So she said the next round of carrots, just to monitor a little more, document when we fed him the carrots, when his hiccups started, and for how long, and how many times after carrots he gets them. If it's a concern at his 6 month check up, then she will have tests run to see if there is a food intolerance to carrots. However, she said with his history of hiccups, it's probably just a coincidence.

He got his booster shots at his appointment on Monday the 31st! What a big little stinker boy I have! lol. He grew over a pound and a half since last month!

He was 15 pounds 10 ounces that puts him in the 70th percentile for his age. He was 27 1/2 inches long which puts him in the 97th percentile for his age! What a big little boy I have. lol.

He passed all of his 4 month old milestones, passed 50% of his 5 month old milestones, and 20% of his 6 month old milestones! My baby boy is growing so fast, and I wish he would slow down just a little bit. But I really LOVE watching  him grow and discover new things every day! Melts my heart! =) Love my baby boy.

SO, I'm excited to be starting cloth diapers. My friend K, who has used the G diapers, doesn't need them any longer, and she prefers the Prefolds over the g diapers, so she is allowing me to try them out and see if we like them. So friggen cool! I'm really excited!

Anyways, baby boy is awake from his nap. Time for lunch. Talk to you later.
