TOO many birthday Parties today=upset stomach.

We started our typical Sunday morning at 8am as always. Feeding baby boy, playing a little while momma cleans up. Got him dressed and ready for Church, then proceeded to get our selves ready for Church.

I'm telling you, God is a good God. Really, can I get an AMEN. Seriously. He knew exactly what Scott and I needed to hear today.

He gave us a message that our hearts just had to hear. Thankfully we were both open to hear, listen, learn, and receive the message.

In case you are wondering what the message was on, it was on John 16:16-22. Here it is below.

16 Jesus went on to say, “In a little while you will see me no more, and then after a little while you will see me.”
17 At this, some of his disciples said to one another, “What does he mean by saying, ‘In a little while you will see me no more, and then after a little while you will see me,’ and ‘Because I am going to the Father’?” 18 They kept asking, “What does he mean by ‘a little while’? We don’t understand what he is saying.”
19 Jesus saw that they wanted to ask him about this, so he said to them, “Are you asking one another what I meant when I said, ‘In a little while you will see me no more, and then after a little while you will see me’? 20 Very truly I tell you, you will weep and mourn while the world rejoices. You will grieve, but your grief will turn to joy. 21 A woman giving birth to a child has pain because her time has come; but when her baby is born she forgets the anguish because of her joy that a child is born into the world. 22 So with you: Now is your time of grief, but I will see you again and you will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy.

Wow. Just powerful. I don't want to go into the ENTIRE sermon, or details of WHY Scott and I had to hear this today, but I will tell you what made it the most impacting today.

I learned this lesson the hard way. That EVERYTHING was up to God, His Will, His timing, His Grand plan of things.

How often do we say to ourselves, that this IS the plan for my life. For example, when I graduate high school, I'm gonna go to college, and God could you help me get to THIS college. I'm gonna study this, and I want to work at THIS job, so could you God, please get me there? And When I have a stable career, I want the RIGHT person, to marry and have children with, THIS is the person, or type of person I WANT, so God, could you make this happen?

So, what happens, when God, pulls you in a different direction? What if he says, well, okay, but, this is MY plan for you, and I'm gonna take you THIS way? Well, we are left standing, sort of confused. Right? Like, well, God is suppose to be all that is good, and listens to our prayers, so when our prayers aren't answered, or they are, and they are redirected, we are confused as to why.

This is what the disciples were going through. Jesus told them that in a "little while" you will not see me, than in a "little while" more you will see me. They were all confused as to what Jesus meant by this. They knew what Jesus meant when He said in a "little while" you wont see me. They knew he was talking about his trial, crucification, death, and resurrection. They however did not know the second in a "little while".

Before I go further, I have to explain that there are three thought process's as to what Jesus meant by the second in a "little while."

The first thought process is some believe this is in reference to Jesus's Resurrection 3 days after his death, and that they would have Jesus among them for 40 days before he ascended back into heaven. The issue with this is, why would Jesus put them through the sorrow of Him leaving, and them, the disciples losing him a second time? So, likely that He was talking about this, BUT, not the less sorrowful.

The second thought process of this is some believe that this is referring His second coming. When Jesus returns to rule the earth. However the issue with this is, in order for the second coming, the churches of the Earth will have to face the elimination rapture, which is still years before His second coming. So, when the rapture occurs, we, also the disciples will be brought up while the rapture happens. So, likely, however, not the one I think is appropriate or what Jesus meant by the second "in a little while".

The third school of thought is the descent of the Holy Spirit once Jesus ascends back to Heaven. This is the MOST likely meaning when Jesus said, the second "in a little while" because the Holy Spirit is God. It is among us, around us, within us. We have God with us 24/7. The Holy Spirit will never leave us, He is always with us.

The ENTIRE purpose of telling the disciples that in a "little while" they will no longer see Him, than in a "little while" more they will see Him, was to comfort them. So which thought process do you think best fits?

The thing is Jesus knew the disciples were confused and secretly trying to figure out what He meant. He dud bit remove their confusion at this point, because we are to follow GOD's plan, His will, and His timing. We are to TRUST and REST that He is God and in control. The disciples knew the who and the what of what had to and was going to happen, but they didn't know the why.

Once it all happened, and all was said and done, the disciples then knew the why.

The second major thing to pull in, is that "Your Grief will be turned into Joy!"

This is exactly what we tend to forget in our daily lives and daily walk with Jesus. That through our trials, through our storms, and through our mis understandings of Gods Will and Plan, that we can take rest and trust God that we will have Joy at the end of the tunnel.

True Joy, can not be taken away. Because True joy is NOT a condition of life, or a condition of time. It's the fact that we are saved through Jesus. It's our eternal state. It's not our walk on this earth, it's our resting place.

There were many other key points into todays sermons, but like I said, they were things Scott and I needed to hear, so I'm gonna keep those private.

Apparently God knew though that we both needed to hear it, so Jayden had a good day in the nursery, so we both got to hear and stay focused on the message.

After church we went to my cousin Hunter's 3rd birthday. We had fun, Hunter was so friggen cute! I loved how hard he tried to blow his candles out! =) It was really REALLY cute.

Afterwards, we had to go to 3 cousins Bailey's 1st birthday party. It was Scott's Step dads, sisters, daughters, daughter's 1st birthday. lol. I know, WILD family right?

After that we had ANOTHER family birthday party to go to. We had my cousins birthday party he is turning 6 tomorrow.

SO, we had a LONG day of birthday parties, and cake, so I will be WALKING OFF a LOT of cake. lol.

In any case, we came home to shish cobobs. =) yumo yumo.

Jayden decided to wanted to elephant crawl tonight. It was so cute! So cute. We got plenty of pictures and a short video.

We did our nightly routine, and surprisingly Jayden went to sleep nice and easy.

So, it's time I get to doing some work, and homework. I will talk to ya'll later. Good night.
